Note: This work relates directly to my
tasks as Head of Research in Shell EP Learning and Leadership Development
(2003-2005) and Head of the University of Twente-Shell EP Learning
Collaborative Project (2000-2005). This collaboration was recognized
internationally as a Best Practice Award Winner for Research-Practitioner
Partnerships from the ASTD (American Society for Training and Development, http://www.astd.org/ASTD/aboutus/
) in 2005. ASTD is the world’s largest association dedicated to workplace learning
